Mixed ability Maths

Hello bloggers,

This term we have been doing mixed ability maths.

How I feel about it? I feel good about it when I am in my mixed ability maths group.

What I have enjoyed? I have enjoyed working with my mixed ability maths group because when you are just by yourself you don't have a lot of ideas but when you are in a mixed ability group you have a lot of ideas.

What I found difficult? I found it difficult sometimes  to figure  out  the questions and write the way and share with my group the way that I solved the problem. 

Why I found this tricky? I found this tricky especially if my group did not stay sitting together or were not concentrating on the work.

For this week, we have been doing addition problems to work out maths problems.
To solve this problem we use the strategies place value partitioning and equal adjustment. I thought that it was hard trying to do the answer for  the  hundreds questions. I thought it was easy to do the google draw.
