For the past two weeks we have been learning about Planet Earth and Beyond. I got to choose my own Inquiry question. `My Inquiry question is: What is the Milky Way? I liked making the slide. I didn't like writing. The 1st fact I learnt was that the Milky Way is actually a galaxy. The 2nd fact is that the Milky Way contains over 200 billion stars, and enough dust and gas to make billions more. The learning behind this task was to find the answer to my wondering I had about Planet Earth and Beyond. So that was my Inquiry focus.

Hi Mollie my name is Nikara and I go to Paihia School. Your blog post is very interesting. I never knew that the Milky Way has over 200 billion stars, and has enough dust and gas to make more. You taught me lots. You photos are really cool. What did you find challenging?
